Short-form Editorial Pieces

Because of the multimedia nature of my storytelling efforts to help organizations effect narrative change through different media forms, in addition to design and multimedia production, I have also produced a number of short-form editorial pieces (samples below), published as either myself or ghostwritten for colleagues, as well as copy writing for social media, copy/SEO strategy for websites and digital storytelling projects, copywriting for fundraising, and much longer-form research writing I’ve conducted as part of my graduate research assistant work at the Media Studies department of The New School. During undergrad, I worked my way from being a staff writer in the news section of my college’s newspaper to becoming its Editor-in-Chief. One could say that my passion for story design today, across different media, originated with that experience. Since, I’ve understood my work helping organizations effect narrative change about humanitarian issues as an exercise in documentary activism and advocacy journalism.
