‘The More You Know’ Vertical Video Series

‘The More You Know’ — recently re-named to ‘There’s More to Know’ — is a short video series by the Carnegie Corporation of New York featuring expert guests quickly breaking down complex topics and why they matter for a stronger democracy.
Background
This social media vertical video series features fact-based storytelling by “VIPs” (grantees, Corporation guests, and more) who will offer quickbite facts, analogies, and analyses for younger general audiences who are curious, yet may be civically disengaged, on issues and solutions that our grantees and other guests are focused on. It will launch as a primarily Instagram-focused vertical video series for Reels that can be optimized to other platforms such as Linkedin and Youtube. Longer, engaging takes that are over 90 seconds may be optimized as a horizontal video for Youtube.
The goals of the series are to: raise awareness about the Corporation’s grantmaking; amplify the work of our grantees; elevate the Corporation’s profile; and ultimately disseminate knowledge on issues in accessible ways, help nurture an informed and engaged citizenry, and expose viewers to different perspectives. In so doing, the series aims to position the Corporation at the center of critical national conversations — tapping into our vast network of scholars and industry leaders to inform, shape, and facilitate those conversations.
